MARYSVILLE — November 2, 2026. Yuba-Sutter Transit announced that Yuba County Library’s temporary Marysville site at the Government Center is closing beginning Monday, November 2, 2026, so materials and equipment can be moved to the renovated library.
No confirmed reopening date
The agency says the library will remain closed until further notice while the relocation is completed. Readers should watch the county’s library updates before making a visit; an anticipated return to a renovated building is not the same as an announced opening date.
An effect on transit customers
The library also served as a sales location for Yuba-Sutter Transit’s Connect Card. In-person card sales at that location are suspended during the move. The transit authority directs customers to other approved sales outlets or the online Connect Card system.
Library contact
Yuba County lists its library department at yuba.gov and 530-749-7380 for questions. The facility’s old temporary address should not be treated as an open service location after November 2.
